A number of organisational changes within Pilkington Building Products UK and Ireland and Pilkington Building Products Europe have taken effect.
David Stoker, Commercial Director, Pilkington Building Products UK and Ireland, takes overall commercial responsibility for the UK and Ireland, including all sales and marketing activity. David continues to be responsible for primary and distribution sales.
Anne Quayle moves to a new role, Sales and Marketing Support Manager for the UK and Ireland. Anne reports to David Stoker and is now responsible for all UK and Ireland marketing communications activity, sales support and the Pilkington Technical Advisory Service. Anne continues to oversee Pilkington’s call centre, mail house and other outsourced marketing agencies.
Matt Buckley moves from his role as Marketing Director of Pilkington Building Products UK to European Coated Product Manager. Matt will manage Pilkington Activ together with the rest of the Pilkington coated glass range as part of the European team.
Commenting on the changes, David Stoker said: “In an ever expanding and changing market in the UK and Europe, it is important that Pilkington Building Products UK develops its business to be in the best possible position to serve its customers. These developments will provide clear focus and direction to our sales and marketing in the UK, lending greater support to both our tied and independent customers. The changes, which take immediate effect, are a positive step forward for the company.”

Bernie Wharton, Regional Sales Manager for the South of the UK adds to his remit, responsibility for the Sales Development Team, which is currently focusing on Pilkington Activ.

Phil Savage is appointed to Commercial Contracts Sales Manager. Reporting to him are Michael Metcalfe, Commercial IGU Sales Manager, and Peter Gilbert, Clear Fire Protection Sales Manager. Phil retains responsibility for Pilkington Planar and Pilkington Plateau sales.

Joanne Marlow moves to a new position of Domestic IGU Sales Manager, where she will be responsible for David Storer, in his new role of Sales Manager for the new Conservatory Roof IGU business. Joanne, in coordination with Andy McDowell, Product Manager-IGU (UK), will be responsible for sales of Pilkington energiKare by Pilkington branches. Andy will continue to lead the development of the newly launched Pilkington energiKare, Pilkington’s energy efficient IGU, and will have an increasing involvement in downstream related projects in both the UK and Europe, including Pilkington K Glas
