Think you already know a lot about sustainable construction? Step up to the BASF Building Science Trivia Smackdown and you could take home an iPad! The games will occur continuously throughout the show. The contestant with the highest score at the end of each day wins an iPad.
BASF Live SPF Demonstration in Show Village
Live BASF polyurethane spray foam insulation demonstrations will occur continuously in the Outdoor Exhibits area during each day of the convention. The presentations will illustrate how closed-cell polyurethane spray foam insulation and air barrier can be spray applied and how it can add two to three times the structural strength to walls and roof decks, provide twice the insulating value per inch of traditional insulation, and promote healthy indoor air quality.
BASF Makes Coastal Model Homes Comfortable and Safe at Show Village 2011 -- located in Outdoor Exhibits area.
BASF closed-cell polyurethane foam insulation and air barrier materials are featured in two modular homes, Sea Breeze and Eco Cabana, in the Show Village. Come see how BASF polyurethane solutions contributed toward making these homes strong enough for coastal conditions, while meeting rigorous energy and green building standards and guidelines.
Third Annual BASF and Department of Energy Builders Challenge Awards
On Thursday, Jan.13, from 8-9 a.m., BASF, along with the U.S. Department of Energy, will present the Third Annual BASF Builders Challenge Awards in the Show Village. Six U.S. builders, who are participants in the DOE’s Builders Challenge, will be honored for their exceptional achievement in high performance home construction.

Come to the BASF booth to learn how the BASF SELECTTM (Sustainability, Eco-Labeling and Environmental Certification Tracking) Eco-Label Manager can be used to mitigate confusion about eco-labels by allowing you to search and analyze eco-labels and certifications within building and construction, packaging and many other fields.
