Concrete Show South America, part of UBM's global concrete portfolio, has built a new indoor area to meet the demands of a growing industry. The event is specifically conducted for concrete and civil construction industry in Latin America.
According to Concrete Show South America’s Managing Director, Cláudia Godoy, the market and the current trends of the industry are highlighted in the event. The development in the civil construction sector has made Brazil to come out with new ideas.
More than 550 national and international exhibitors will participate in the event. Some of the items that will be displayed at the event are high performance products for concrete applications from Goodyear Engineered Products, Penetron will showcase Penetron Admix, which is an additive that offers waterproofing properties by full crystallization, and Putzmeister will display a new line of equipment manufactured in Brazil.
Apart from this, the event will also include over 150 seminar sessions and more than 28,000 industry professionals, thus making the event a powerful platform to develop prime business contacts.
Additionally, the 6th Concrete Congress will be held in parallel to the Concrete Show South America exhibition, and will take place from August 29 to 31, 2012 at the Imigrantes Exhibition Center in São Paulo. The event will host seminars, workshops and round tables based on topics such as Sustainable Construction, Training and Professional Development, and Industrialization of Construction.
