Zuari Cement has achieved another landmark after being recognized as a POWER BRAND-2012, the most robust 100 brands selected by the Indian consumers.

The winning of the prestigious POWER BRAND-2012 award makes Zuari Cement a part of the finest group of brands from all over India. POWER BRANDS are India’s most powerful brands that have registered their dominance in the minds and hearts of the Indian consumers to earn a place as the most sought-after brands.
The selection process comprised of a three-stage survey conducted by Indian Council for Market Research covering a key set of 20,000 brands from 22 cities and involving the participation of 10,000 consumers. The nine key parameters associated with the growth, revival, revolution and survival of a brand were observed to sort out the top 100 brands.
Mr. Krishna Srivastava, Director of Sales & Marketing at Zuari Cement, received the award in a function held at New Delhi. Political figures, academicians and industry veterans also participated in the function. CMO Asia council recognized Zuari Cement as a MASTER BRAND in the year 2011.
Zuari cement is part of Italcementi Group, a global company and the world’s fifth largest cement manufacturer. The company’s overall cement production capacity in India is 6.2 million tons. It operates two production units at Yerraguntla and Sitapuram and a grinding centre at Chennai. It plans to reinforce its industrial network through a greenfield plant in northern Karnataka. It manufactures superior quality ordinary Portland cement and blended cement.
