Intertape Polymer Group (IPG), the second biggest tape manufacturer in the U.S. and a prominent marketer of building products, has launched weather blockade products for the construction sector.

NovaWrap building wrap

The products include NovaWrap building wrap, NovaSeal roof underlayment, NovaFlash self-adhering flashing besides a collection of complementary tapes inclusive of Intertape Sheathing Tape. The products together form IPG’s Total Moisture Control System. The individual products function in collaboration with each other to provide power efficiency, long life and maximum protection from moisture, thus making sure that contractors as well as the end clients are satisfied.

IPG construction products have been in the market since 2010, but the organization has recently taken up vigorous advertising and marketing of its product line. The products go through technical investigation by outsider experts for code adherence by ICC-ES and help specifiers abide by state, municipal and national building regulations.

IPG was started in 1981 as a manufacturer of pressure-sensitive tape for fastening boxes and then graduated to become creator, manufacturer and marketer of paper- and film-based pressure-sensitive and water-activated tape, customized polyolefin films, lumber wraps, HVAC tapes, woven fabrics as well as complementary packaging materials for retail and industrial utilization. It is thus a prominent establishment in the packaging sector with a complete range of products and equipment. Its earnings exceeded $780 million in 2011 and it caters to various sectors such as the automotive aftermarket, medical and pharmaceutical, e-commerce, aerospace and food processing.

IPG construction products can be obtained from big marketers, dealers, important residential improvement shopping outlets, and also hardware cooperatives owned by retailers.
