Professional floor cleaning companies in the U.S. are utilizing Basotect W floor pads for cleaning floors without the use of aggressive cleaning agents.

The Basotect W floor pads can be used on standard cleaning machines that are used for removing grease and dirt, and for scrubbing and polishing activities.
A couple of years back, the melamine resin foam had been launched in the market for cleaning. The Basotect W is an improved version of this pad. It functions like soft sandpaper due to its minimal abrasive properties. The pad requires a mild cleaning solution or just water for cleaning floors thoroughly.
The melamine resin foam is manufactured by BASF and it features good cleaning qualities, temperature resistance, flame-retardancy, sound absorption and low density. The foam is attached to nonwoven fabric, which is manufactured from polyester fibers that have been recycled completely. The fabric allows the foam to be attached to the cleaning machine securely. It also allows the foam to be cut into the desired size.
The Basotect W floor pad has received Öko-Tex Standard 100 certification in the product class I category. This specifies that no substance that may harm the skin or health is released by the product.
The normal cleaning process is time consuming as it involves scrubbing followed by application of layers of protective wax. The BASF pad avoids the need of polishing as it does not remove the floor luster. The Basotect W floor pads can be used for cleaning epoxy, terrazzo, VCT, porcelain, concrete and ceramic tiles.
