Electronic Cabinet Locking System

EMKA has recently released a new electronic cabinet locking system. It consists of a set of Electronic Locking Modules (ELM) that integrates with existing EMKA handles. This enables the system to be configured to customer requirements and monitors any activity.

Ideal for factories and hotels, the system may be connected to a computer LAN for recording and access purposes. The need for keys is also eliminated. As an example, if an engineer required access to a given cabinet or room within a facility, they would either phone or radio a control room, request a certain numbered lock to be opened and the control operator simply pushes a button to release the handle. Upon leaving the engineer simply closes the cabinet and resets the handle.
