Outdoor Accents Lighting Inc. continues to earn national attention for their award winning landscape lighting projects with their most recent accolades received from the Association of Outdoor Lighting Professionals (AOLP) with two first-place landscape lighting design awards.

Outdoor Accents was honored in the “Residential” and “Creative Use” categories at the 2014 annual AOLP conference in San Diego. The AOLP is an organization made up outdoor lighting professionals throughout the United States whose mission is to establish standards, educate industry professionals and increase awareness of the outdoor lighting industry. “I always appreciate the compliments we receive on our work, but to be recognized by our peers, a group made up of some of the most talented landscape lighting designers in the country is truly a great honor.” said David Sloan, owner of Joliet-based Outdoor Accents Inc.
Last year at the 2013 AOLP Conference in Atlanta, Outdoor Accents received two first-place awards by winning the prestigious Janet Lenox Moyer Award for their work in illuminating of the “Grand Niche” at the landmark Rialto Square Theater in Joliet, Illinois as well as the Creative Use Award. 2014 marked Outdoor Accents’ second year in a row winning the Creative Use Award and the second year receiving two awards. Each year the AOLP offers awards in five different categories as well as a Best in Show Award and the Janet Lenox Moyer Award, chosen by internationally-acclaimed lighting designer it is named after.
