The floors in this luxurious, high-end collection recreate the look of an oiled floor without the hassles of regular oil application and low wear resistance. The new DuraMattTM finish is a highly resistant and ultra-matte finish that brings out wood's natural beauty, revealing the grain and character marks that make this collection so special.
Created with all the superior traits required to earn the Mirage seal of quality, the DuraMattTM finish provides a matte, long lasting finish that stands up to stains and scratches. In fact, it is 20 times more resistant to wear than a conventional oiled finish. Like other Mirage finishes, DuraMattTM is hypoallergenic and free of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and formaldehyde. As a mark of unequaled quality, these floors come with a 35-year warranty against finish wear, a first in the industry for an oil-look finish.
