Environmentally-friendly AZEK Pavers, made from up to 95% recycled content, announces two new Resurfacing Paver profiles to expand design options for resurfacing patios, balconies, and decks, or on flat roof projects. Made primarily of recycled tires and plastics, the new 4" X 4" and 8" X 8" AZEK Resurfacing Paver profiles join the current 4" X 8" paver and will be available in four popular colors. Used together, the three sizes allow the versatility to create even more interesting patterns.
AZEK Resurfacing Pavers fit neatly into a unique 16" x 16" grid, which automatically aligns and spaces the pavers, and is applied over an existing substrate. The combined height of pavers and grid measures 1-3/4" high. They install quickly and easily with no special masonry tools or wet saws required. At less than one-third the weight of traditional pavers, AZEK Resurfacing Pavers install up to three times faster than traditional concrete pavers.
Designed to be installed directly over a worn out deck, cracked patio or a balcony, AZEK Resurfacing Pavers eliminate the height or weight concerns of heavy traditional brick or concrete pavers. They are an innovative, cost-effective solution that can revitalize problem areas without excavation and heavy construction, while reducing installation time.
AZEK Resurfacing Pavers are also ideal to transform unused flat roof space into a usable, beautiful outdoor area. At six pounds per square foot, AZEK Resurfacing Pavers are easy to transport and install on rooftops. The free floating system is installed over a thin drainage mat which ensures proper drainage and protects the waterproofing from abrasion. No fasteners or sleeper systems are needed, thereby limiting any potential leaks caused by puncturing the waterproofing. And without labor-intensive pedestal systems or fasteners, AZEK Resurfacing Pavers allow easy access to the roof underneath.
In addition to AZEK Resurfacing Pavers, Standard Pavers and Permeable Pavers are great options for improving outdoor living areas. Like the Resurfacing Pavers, they install on the same type of grid system. AZEK Standard Pavers are ideally suited for outdoor patios, driveways and walkways, while AZEK Permeable Pavers, with spacer lugs, are designed for areas that require additional water drainage.
