Water SolutionZ International,
Inc. today announced the successful implementation of its CT™ series
of environmentally-safe cleaning agents for HVAC systems at Elmhurst College
in Elmhurst, Illinois. The patented CT™ product provides a more efficient
and effective solution for HVAC enhancement compared to the less attractive
alternatives of using corrosive chemicals or the costly replacement of pipes
throughout the system.
Elmhurst College ranks among the top colleges in the Midwest, according to "America's
Best Colleges," a survey by U.S.News & World Report. The Princeton
Review also lists Elmhurst among the region's premier institutions of higher
learning. All buildings on the 40-acre campus are interconnected by a closed
loop water system providing both heating and cooling. The benefit of the patented
CT™ series of environmentally-safe cleaning agents is that the scale, rust
or corrosion deposits that builds up within pipes is significantly decreased.
This allows greater heat transfer to occur, resulting in far more efficient
heating and cooling and overall lower operating costs. "Our customers understand
the logic and relative ease of using CT™. The cost savings in terms of
time and money is a huge benefit for them," says Jeffery Grade, Chief Engineer
of Water SolutionZ.
The patented CT™ series cleans and maintains HVAC closed loops for water
treatment systems in commercial, industrial and multi-unit residential environments.
Currently, the product is being used in over 200 loops in 50 buildings.
The CT™ series of environmentally-safe cleaning agents replace less effective,
older methods so that toxic or corrosive chemicals are not needed to clean closed
loops. Building owners and chief engineers acknowledge the key benefits of the
CT™ series such as:
- Removes scale and rust from wetted surfaces
- Prolongs equipment life
- Reduces energy consumption by at least 15% or more depending on the system
- Simplifies maintenance & storage procedures
- Eliminates environmental concerns of handling and storing toxic materials
- Proven safe with NSF® approval for use in potable water systems (CT-01)
