Prevent Floods in Homes and Businesses with the New Wireless Sensor Technology

Published on January 30, 2007 at 6:18 AM

Etched In Time, Inc. announced today that it has completed development of a New Wireless Flood Prevention System. No- Flood Systems was designed to remotely detect water leaks within a building and automatically terminate flow at the main water valve.

According to insurance statistics, annual property damage attributed to water damage within the US exceeds $3 billion. EITI president Bob Henderson states that the major beneficiaries of this technology will include businesses, homeowners and the insurance industry. EITI is currently seeking to sell the rights to the No- Flood Systems, including patent (7,044,154), engineering designs, manufacturing BOM, and software associated with the product. No Flood Systems contains a main control unit, an automated ball valve, and wireless sensors that are distributed throughout the protected property without the need for expensive hard-wiring.
