In the area of electrical installation technology, Siemens Building Technologies is expanding its Delta range with five new products: These include the smoke detector Delta reflex SD9L, a flush-mounting radio, new frames in the Delta miro and Delta style switch programs as well as inserts with new screw-and-washer assembly.
The Delta reflex smoke detector SD9L for private domestic areas quickly detects the smoke arising from a fire and gives both an optical and acoustical alarm. The 85-decibel signal is loud enough to awaken sleeping people. The battery-operated device has been tested by the Association of German Safety Engineers and its functional capability can be checked with a test button. The lithium battery has a lifespan of up to seven years.
The new Delta miro flush-mounting radio is place-saving and can be installed with a choice of vertical or horizontal positioning in two flush-mounting boxes. RDS and time are displayed on the illuminated LCD display. Moreover the user can set the station storage selections, the wake-up function and the volume with the LCD display. The device is available in titanium white, aluminum metallic, and carbon metallic.
Siemens has expanded the high-quality switch program Delta miro by adding frames of genuine aluminum metal in the colors yellow oxide, natural, graphite and titanium. In addition Delta miro Glas is now also available with colored frames in black, white, arena and orient. The Delta style switch program is now also offered in platinum metallic. It features the new anti-fingerprint technology and is suitable for homes and offices.
The new screw-and-washer assemblies for Torx T10 and slot head screwdrivers will also be presented at the fair. These assemblies shorten installation times and also require less installation force. They also reduce tool wear because the screwdriver can no longer slip out of the screw head so easily.
