TerrAzzo tiles are now being installed not only as flooring in residential properties but also as worktops, wall cladding and as veneer on furniture. The new tiles come in a lightweight form with a pliable resin matrix and glass or shell aggregate. Architects are extending buildings with original terrAzzo floors due to its durability and easy maintenance. A new line of earth-toned terrAzzo tiles has been produced to mimic the ancient Roman floors of crushed terracotta.
