Ventilated Wall: Substructures And Systems Of Anchorage


The substructures and anchorage systems involved in the construction of a ventilated or hanging wall are described. The fundamental element in the system is the metallic structure usually made from aluminium alloys. The mechanical  and thermal properties of the cladding material are fundamental to the structural stability of the wall.
