An Italian research centre has developed an innovative technology that combines a methodology to improve the resistance of acrylic glass with the realization of a material with thermo-optical switching behaviour. It's a suitable solution for protected cultivations of horticultural and floricultural products that need a stronger impact resistance. The research centre is looking for manufacturing industries to further develop the product.
