Specifying exhaust and intake systems


Describes a quantitative approach to accurately evaluate exhaust and intake designs to ensure acceptable air quality inside and around buildings.  Issues discussed are: applicable standards and recommendations, analytical methods, plume rise and dispersion, architectural screens, entrained air exhausts, recommended analysis approach, formulating a concentration design goal and wind-tunnel modelling.
