Thermal energy storage systems as a key technology in energy conservation

Discusses the methods and applications of describing, assessing and using thermal energy storage systems, as well as the economical, energy conservation and environmental aspects of such systems. Discusses the energetic and environmental impacts of thermal energy storage systems and provides illustrative examples.  Provides illustrative examples to demonstrate how exergy analysis provides a more realistic assessment than conventional energy analysis of the efficiency and performance of sensible heat storage systems.
