Summary |
Investigates theoretically the impact of a number of different parameters on the coefficient of performance of single-effect and double-effect vapour absorption air conditioning. Examines the effect of condenser, generator and evaporator temperatures, and heat exchanger effectiveness. Finds that the COP of the double-effect system is almost twice that of the single-effect system under the same conditions. Also shows that an increase in generator temperature or decrease of condenser temperature or combination of the two will improve the COP of the system. |
