Smoke control analysis of a high rise building using a network air flow model

Summary

States that network flow models which allow the user to subdivide a building into multiple compartments or zones and evaluate the airflow and pressure difference between these different areas, can be used to analyse the impact of environmental conditions on building smoke control systems. Describes in some detail the application for smoke control analysis of the CONTAM96 multizone indoor air quality and ventilation analysis computer model to a 14-storey residential building in San Francisco.
