Load bearing structural frames support modular accommodation solution

The timber and steel framed modular buildings produced by Rollalong Ltd. are briefly described, which are suitable for single living, lodge-style hotel accommodation, cluster flats, key worker apartments and low rise affordable housing. Timber frame designs are typically up to four storeys in height, with each modular section prefabricated with a width up to 3.6 m and a ceiling height up to 3.0 m. All mechanical and electrical services may be factory fitted. The construction gives excellent fire resistance, and sound and thermal insulation. Steel framed modules are also produced, enabling the construction of free-standing buildings up to 5 storeys, the modules being bolted together along all adjoining edges to comply with disproportionate collapse requirements.
