Writes for those who specify, select install or maintain filters in building service applications, as well as  suppliers of air handling units and filter manufacturers. Writes to enable the reader to specify and select the  required type and grade of air filters. Also gives guidance on the installation and maintenance of air filters.  Covers general air filtration in building services and in particular primary (panel) and secondary (bag or  pocket and rigid cell) filters. Also mentions high efficiency filters and gaseous (activated carbon) filters.  Develops a cost benefit analysis spreadsheet as a filter selection tool to facilitate the selection of the optimum  type of filters. A copy is free on disc on application.
