Finite Element Methods with WEB-Splines ( Partner Search )


A German university has developed a novel type of finite elements, so called WEB-splines (   Weighted Extended B-splines   ), for solving two- and three-dimensional boundary value problems. The resulting WEB-method does not require any grid generation and therefore can be implemented very efficiently. Moreover, highly accurate numerical solutions are obtained with relatively few parameters. The university is looking for licensees and is willing to cooperate for further development.
