Modernisation of old buildings - saving time and money

Tight schedules and the pressure to meet deadlines are virtually regular occurrences on large construction sites.  What is then needed in addition to scheduling and logistical  solutions is above all product alternatives which decisively  speed up construction progress. When building the Park Plaza  Hotel on the historic abattoir site in Offenbach, it was a new fast screed floor that saved 23 valuable days of construction, thereby enabling the hotel to go into operation on schedule.  Sopro Rapidur B5 is an innovative quick screed bonding agent, developed by Dyckerhoff Sopro GmbH in Germany. The agent allows a cement screed to be produced on which floor tiles can be installed only five days after laying, a saving of 23 days over conventional cement screeds and just four days longer than traditional fast-acting screeds. However, Sopro Rapidur is 50% cheaper than the latter and, therefore, has a significantly improved  cost-benefit ratio.
