All-brick makes a big difference


The reasons why two US builders chose to build mid-priced all-brick homes are examined, and suggestions are made which  other contractors can use to expand their businesses.  The two firms found that using all-brick in residential developments in North and South Carolina really makes a big difference.  Some of the benefits of all-brick homes, such as low maintenance costs, a streetscape of varied brick colours and styles of elevations, lower insurance costs, greater resale value, and higher appraised values, are pointed out.  It is shown that quality construction techniques, knowing the local market and promoting the many benefits are essential ingredients in the all-brick sales effort.
