WOLF Signs Exclusive Supplier Agreement for CEVN Cellular PVC Deckboard

WOLF has reached an agreement to become the exclusive supplier of CEVN™, the market's first dual-sided, dual-colored cellular PVC deckboard. CEVN is owned by New Jersey's CEVN Corp. and produced under license by Inteplast Group, Ltd.

WOLF, the largest supplier of kitchen cabinets in the U.S. and a leading provider of building products along the East Coast, announced it would offer CEVN to its entire 19-state service area starting on November 5. WOLF will be the exclusive supplier of CEVN in the markets it services.

Initially, CEVN will offer six rich colors of dual-sided decking, along with single-colored fascia and single-colored deck boars for stairs and other special applications.

CEVN Decking

CEVN's dual-colored design offers significant advantages. This unique feature enables dealers to reduce their on-site inventory, while still maintaining an array of options for builders and homeowners. In fact, dealers carrying CEVN can reduce their stock by an estimated 40% and still carry and equivalent number of decking SKUs.

WOLF will also offer dealers two-to-three week lead times on direct orders. The combination of CEVN's unique design and WOLF's logistics capabilities will enable dealers to turn their inventory much more rapidly. WOLF will also provide dealers who stock CEVN with merchandising support including point of purchase displays, samples, literature and more.

CEVN Decking will be manufactured in the U.S. at Inteplast's PVC mega plant in Lolita, Texas. Other key features of CEVN:

  • CEVN is the only deckboard on the market with a patented process that provides two complementary colors on a single board - a feature that provides builders and homeowners much greater design flexibility.
  • CEVN's surface is engineered for superior scratch resistance and exceptional traction.
  • CEVN's unique formula resists fading, and its color stabilizers provide for superior color retention.
  • Unlike some other PVC deck boards offering only light colors and high gloss, CEVN offers a realistic deep wood-grain texture, darker colors and variegated wood-tone appearance.

In addition, CEVN's solid-core PVC construction is lighter and easier to handle than composite decking or treated lumber. CEVN also cuts, fastens and screws with ordinary tools.
