WOLF to Become Exclusive Supplier of PVC Decking Products

WOLF, the largest supplier of kitchen cabinets in the U.S. and a leading provider of building products along the East Coast, today announced a major shift in its PVC decking lineup.

WOLF has reached an agreement to become the exclusive supplier of CEVN™, the market's first dual-sided, dual-colored cellular PVC deck board.  In addition, over the next six months, the company will introduce WOLF™ Decking and WOLF™ Railing, proprietary new PVC products combining the latest technology with outstanding value.

The new product offerings are designed to enable independent dealers in WOLF's 19-state service area to differentiate themselves from competitors and to offer value-oriented products of superior quality.

WOLF announced concurrently that as of November 5 it has terminated its distributor relationship with AZEK according to the terms of their agreement.

During 2010, the company launched WOLF™ Trimboards and WOLF™ Mouldings, two lines that achieved success in the marketplace and drove WOLF's decision to expand its branded offerings.  WOLF will also continue to offer EverGrain™ decking, Tam-Rail railing systems, and other popular composite products from Tamko.

Tom Wolf, Chairman and CEO of WOLF, said the concerns of dealers drove WOLF's strategic shift to company-branded products and select manufacturers. WOLF's ability to increase the reliability of the supply chain will offer dealers improved lead times, faster turns on inventory and the potential for greater profitability.

"WOLF has always understood that our long-term viability depends on the bottom-line success of our partners," Wolf said. "Our new product offerings create a competitive advantage for our dealers, enabling them to better compete both on quality and price."

WOLF also offers dealers industry-leading logistics capabilities, guaranteed delivery and significant promotional support.

The announcement of its new product lineup follows WOLF's concerted push into several southern states in 2009. In 2010, it solidified its reach into 19 East Coast states. In mid-September, WOLF announced it would open a New England distribution center and move its building products distribution center to a larger facility in York, Pa.
