Building products specialist Catnic is about to launch a range of easy to fit, durable, lightweight and attractive roofing profiles. Called the liteTILE Roofing System, this revolutionary system requires just 2 tiles per square metre of coverage and is one seventh the weight of conventional tiles.

The tiles are constructed from pressed galvanised steel before being finished in a natural stone coating to give them a traditional tile appearance. They are strong and light, easing pressure on roof structures and are considerably more durable than conventional tiles in that they do not chip or split, eliminating wastage. The tiles are covered by a 30 year guarantee, and will be available in four profiles and seven colours.
