Several Kwal Paint stores in the North Texas region teamed up with District 1 Councilmember Delia Jasso and the city's Code Compliance Department to erase graffiti within the City of Dallas before football fans began to roll in at the end of January.
Mayor of Dallas Tom Leppert called for cleanup efforts in mid-December with answers of overwhelming support from the entire community including local businesses like Kwal Paint.
Beginning in late January and leading up to Sunday's Big Game, Kwal Paint will assist in funding the efforts to paint over graffiti in East and Southwest Dallas as well as areas in the Central Business District. Kwal will provide the project's volunteers with painting supplies and more than 2,000 gallons of paint -- a value totaling over $10,000.00.
