Eco Building Products Receives First Order for Eco D-Fence Advanced Framing Lumber Formulation

Eco Building Products, Inc., announced today that they have received their first order for Eco D-Fence™, their Advanced Framing Lumber™ (AFL) formulation specifically designed for use on exterior wood fencing products. Eco D-Fence™ incorporates environmentally friendly Eco Red Shield™ technology with Stain Fire Break™ and is available in two standard colors. As with Eco's standard AFL formulation, Eco D-Fence protects against all four dimensions of risk - mold, rot, termites and fire.

"This is an important milestone for the Company in expanding its product line and aligning with major national distributors. We will use this first order to dial in the exact color desired by the client as well as the unique processes involved with the product. These refinements are minor and will not delay the follow-up orders which are substantial," said Tom Comery, Eco's President and CEO. The first order will be coated at the Company's Tacoma facility the week of November 30, and is expected to be followed by 5 ½ containers in December or 173,000 board feet and another 134,000 board feet for the facility in February. "These initial orders for 1x6 cedar pickets and 2x4 rails are earmarked for the client's California and Pacific Northwest locations where fire raged for months this past year," Mr. Comery added, "however we are also in discussions with locations in the Mid-South which will be served by our Augusta facility. Wood fencing is a very large market and with the growing risk of fire in the west and concerns with mold, rot and termites in the South East, we expect Eco D-Fence to grow rapidly and become a primary product for us at all of our facilities."
