DHF Conference and Expo Confirm 30-Plus Exhibitors

More than 30 exhibitors will showcase the best of the UK’s door, shutter and hardware industry at the Door & Hardware Federation’s first ever Conference and Expo on Thursday, September 28.

It will be held in Loughborough University’s Sir Denis Rooke Building, Holywell Park from 9am to 3pm. Entrance is free. A buffet lunch will be available to all prebooked visitors. To book, visitors should contact the DHF on 01827 52337.

There will be a huge variety of exhibitors, ranging from lockmakers to door security producers, who will be manning their stands throughout the day.

The DHF is confidently expecting a large turnout of visitors to the event. In addition to having the opportunity of visiting the trade stands, visitors will also be able to attend a number of free workshops covering a wide variety of hot topics. These include domestic fire safety, fire door certification, the benefits of CE marking garage doors under the Construction Products Directive, fire door hardware, access for the disabled, working at heights, repair and maintenance, anti fall back devices and power operated driveway gates. Advance booking for delegate places at the workshops can be made by contacting the DHF.

Said DHF chief executive Ian Wood: “Visitors can expect a day packed with activities. Both DHF members and non members should gain real benefits from attending our Conference and Expo which will showcase best practice in our sector.”

The DHF represents more than 90 per cent of the key players in industrial and commercial doors & shutters and garage doors and also represents the leading UK manufacturers of building hardware and architectural ironmongery.
