InventHelp, America's leading inventor service company, announces that one of its clients, an inventor from Plymouth, Minn., has designed a modified stepladder. This invention is patented and a prototype is available.
The "Shoultz Stair Ladder" could provide great comfort, which could reduce strain on the back and feet commonly associated with tradesman work. The Shoultz Stair Ladder would feature a design equipped with added safety features, including greater stability, wider steps, and a pitch that is less steep. The unit would also include a wider shelf for multiple supplies and tools.
The Shoultz Stair Ladder would consist of a modified aluminum stepladder measuring 75 inches tall when set up. The steps would rise at a 25-degree angle, while the support side would rise at a 14-degree pitch. At the top, the unit would feature a wide folding shelf for tools and supplies. Each riser would measure 6-3/4 inches in depth. The unit could be producible in standard 6- to 12-foot heights.
