AirFlow Technology Launches New Register Booster Fan with Remote Control

AirFlow™ Technology, a provider of innovative, affordable and energy-efficient home comfort products, introduces today the AirFlow Breeze Ultra register booster fan with remote control.

This quieter and more powerful version of the original AirFlow Breeze fits vents in the floor, wall or ceiling and enhances the temperature in “problem rooms”— where temperatures typically do not match thermostat settings. In special installations, the AirFlow Breeze Ultra can also assist in moving air up, down, from room to room or level to level; spreading cool air from window air conditioners or split systems; or spreading warm air from wood stoves and other heat sources.

By using a built-in temperature sensor, the AirFlow Breeze Ultra quietly delivers warm or cool air to any area of the home that is consistently too hot or too cold. In its role as a register booster fan, the AirFlow Breeze Ultra is easy to install in underperforming registers - in 6 by 10 inch and 6 by 12 inch sizes - to boost their performance and solve “problem rooms.” In its role as an air mover, the AirFlow Breeze Ultra may be installed in a wide variety of ways, utilizing the stud wall cavity as a passageway to move air up, down, room to room or level to level. Controlled by a three-speed fan setting, the AirFlow Breeze Ultra offers airflow rates up to 150 cubic feet per minute (CFM) but costs less than $5 per year to operate.

“Let’s face it; most homes have uneven temperature levels. The Ultra addresses several common issues. In addition to providing an extra boost to underperforming registers, it’s perfect for redistributing output from space heaters, wood stoves, fireplaces, split systems and window air conditioners,” said Bernie Pierce, president of AirFlow Technology. “With the remote control, the Ultra can be positioned and controlled in almost any location.”

The Ultra is whisper-quiet, has adjustable fan speeds, uses long-life brushless direct current fans, is controlled by a thermostat and, when set, automatically turns on and off.

Available now at www.aftproducts.com (MSRP $89.95; shipping and handling not included), the AirFlow Breeze Ultra is covered by a one-year limited warranty from the date of purchase and comes with easy-to-follow instructions.
