Perini Management Services to Offer Technical Design-Build Services for USFWS Offices

Tutor Perini Corporation (NYSE: TPC), a leading civil and building construction company, today announced that its subsidiary, Perini Management Services, Inc., has been awarded a Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) for comprehensive technical design-build and construction services for all U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) Regional and Central Offices and other Bureaus within the Department of the Interior (DOI).

The contract ceiling is $2 billion, to be shared by six awardees. Each of the six individual MATOC awards has a maximum value of $400 million over the contract period, which includes one base year and four option years.

Perini Management Services, Inc. (PMSI) is one of three contractors selected for provision of services, primarily within the eastern half of the United States. The contract also potentially allows for the opportunity to compete with all six contractors for complex projects throughout the continental United States and its territories. The contract vehicle is available to all bureaus within the DOI, which includes the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, National Park Service, Bureau of Reclamation, Bureau of Land Management, Bureau of Indian Affairs and the U.S. Geological Survey.

PMSI specializes in design-build construction for federal agencies and in the management of task order contracts, both within and outside the continental United States. PMSI has successfully managed nearly $2 billion worth of IDIQ contract task orders for construction over the past 15 years, including work in Puerto Rico, Guam and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

PMSI’s Team for this contract includes Stanley Consultants of Muscatine, Iowa as the lead Architect/Engineer and a number of small business and specialty firms that will provide environmental studies and other resource protection services, as well as historic preservation services.

Ronald Tutor, Chairman and CEO of Tutor Perini, said: “The Corporation is pleased to have this opportunity to contribute to the preservation of our country’s natural, historic, and cultural resources. This program is well suited to our nationwide construction services capabilities.”
