Hexion Raises Prices of Adhesives Used in Wood Assembly Markets

Effective May 10, 2010, or as contracts allow, Hexion Specialty Chemicals, Inc.’s Performance Adhesives business will implement price increases by up to $0.05/lb (five cents) per wet pound in the United States and Canada for all polyvinyl acetate adhesives used in the wood assembly markets.

This action is necessary due to continued increases in the cost of key raw materials used in the production of these adhesives.
