New Tool, 'The Screw Up', Saves Climbing Ladders to Hang and Remove Holiday Lights

A new tool, The Screw Up, that allows safe and fast installation of hang hooks using an extension pole, is now available from Sophron Marketing of Sonora, California.

"It is a unique tool," said Jim Tassano, president of Sophron Marketing, "because no other tool does anything remotely like this. It is so new that people do not even know such a tool exists, or what they can do with it."

Using an extension pole, the homeowner can stand on the ground and screw in the hooks and hang items. The patented socket holds the screw hooks tightly, and a magnet keeps the screw in place. The tool also comes with convenient hang attachments.

The sockets also fit power drills, a feature encouraged by Ilene Tassano, Jim's wife and partner. Ilene also came up with the name "The Screw Up."

The Screw Up(R) can be viewed and ordered online at http://www.sophron.com. There are two versions of the tool, ranging from $4.99 to $14.99 plus shipping.

According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control, each year between November 1 and January 31, about 5,800 Americans are treated in emergency rooms for fall-related injuries while hanging Christmas lights and decorations.
