StructureCast to Produce Easi-Set, Easi-Span Precast Concrete Buildings

Officials at Easi-Set® Industries recently announced that a California company will now produce Easi-Set and Easi-Span precast concrete buildings under a new licensing agreement.

StructureCast, of Bakersfield, Calif., is an NPCA-certified plant founded in 1974 as Bakersfield Pre Cast. It sold its first Easi-Set building within two weeks to Caltrans, and will deliver the building later this month.

The newest Easi-Set building licensed producer already manufactures a variety of structural and architectural precast concrete products including in-ground vaults, storm water products, pre-stressed bridge girders and slabs, StoneTree security and sound walls, and multi-story architectural precast buildings.

“Though we do manufacture the smaller precast buildings from time to time, we felt it was a good time to partner with Easi-Set Industries and more effectively capture the precast building market throughout the state of California,” said Brent Dezember, general manager at StructureCast.

Fabricated as separate wall, roof and floor panels, Easi-Set buildings feature a patented post-tensioning system in the roof and floor, a turn-down roof that caps the walls, and a step-down floor panel to eliminate the possibility of water migration into the building along the bottom of the wall panels. Easi-Set buildings are virtually maintenance free, are available in a variety of sizes and finishes, and are fully customizable. They are typically assembled at the plant, delivered to the customer’s site and installed on a concrete slab or gravel pad in a matter of hours.
