The Forth Replacement Crossing project requires the construction of a cable-stayed bridge measuring a length of around two kilometers along with two spans measuring 650-meters each. The total construction involves building of around seven kilometers of road without interrupting the movement of traffic. The construction work of the project is to commence by April 2010 and expected to be completed by 2016.
