EPIC Group Gets LEED Green Building Certification

The EPIC Group declared that its CIPL project has been granted LEED Certification instituted by the U.S. Green Building Council and confirmed by the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI). This project happens to be first ever LEED certified project for the company as well as for Bangladesh.

CIPL Building

The LEED certified CIPL facility incorporates a number of eco-friendly design and construction characteristics. It incorporated water saving pumping systems and energy conserving lighting systems and air conditioning facility. During the construction it used green materials. The LEED certified building is designed to cut down the carbon dioxide emissions and provide friendly working environ for the residents, workers and other users of the building.

The CIPL owned by EPIC is a modern, fully air-conditioned factory that has spread over 500,000 sqft area. The factory located in Dhaka, Bangladesh is utilized for the production and finishing of garments. It has facilities for wet and dry processing, printing, embroidery and an exclusive facility for wrinkle-free post-cure.
