Fordham University Enters Phase Two of Quinn Library Construction Project
Fordham University in its efforts to expand the Lincoln Center Campus under a $1.6 billion master plan has completed the ground breaking ceremony for the new School of Law and the Undergraduate Residence Hall at the Robert Moses Plaza on May 3, 2011.

The construction has received its design from the New York based urban design and architecture company Cooper, Robertson & Partners. The construction planned with an investment of $250 is anticipated to get completed by 2014.
The respected educational center located in the center of New York City is venturing constructional activities to meet the growing demand of admitting new students. Initially, the University is planning to commence construction work on a new Law School. The construction will include conference rooms, lecture halls and 26 class rooms. Additionally the construction will also incorporate model trial court rooms. The construction will also include a library that can host 562,000 volumes of books. The proposed Law School will engage nine floors in the building and rest of the places will be occupied by a residential tower.
The university is also combining the expansion of the present Quinn Library at Lincoln Center in the present construction activities. The library presently holds 500,000 volumes of books and the expansion will enable it to add more books from the law library. This project is being completed in two phases to put up with the school schedule. The phase two of the project will commence this month. Phase two of the project is anticipated to be completed by September 2011.
