Siemens to Display Wastewater Treatment Solutions at WEFTEC.11

Siemens has declared that it will be showcasing its wastewater treatment solutions at WEFTEC.11 (Annual Water Environment Federation Technical Exhibition and Conference) to be held from October 15 to 19 at Los Angeles Convention Center, Los Angeles, California, USA.

The conference is expected to provide solutions for some of the important issues such as parts wear out in wastewater treatment plant (WWTP), increase in operational costs and tightening of regulatory requirements.

The company has plans to concentrate on eight important topics such as integrated computerization and controls, disinfection, biosolids management, anaerobic digestion, filtration, biological processes and clarification. It will also be providing services related to cost saving services, retrofit, rehabilitation and upgrades. The company in addition to installing new wastewater treatment plants also extends its services to improve and lengthen the working life of old plants, improve their efficiency, cut down the operation costs and assist in meeting the regulatory obligations.

Using its biological process maximizing program BioFlowsheet+ Solutions, it enables amalgamation of low energy consuming biological procedures, turbocompressors, changeable frequency drive engineering and controls to cut down energy usage. The company also offers its novel technologies on incineration, composting, biosolids reduction to reduce biosolids generation and output of methane gas.
