Keller HCW Obtains Promise for Large Russian Order

Keller HCW GmbH (Ibbenbueren-Laggenbeck, Germany) and a Russian investor signed a large order for a new brick plant in Pawlowsky Posad - in the Moscow region of the country - at this year’s Ceramitec exhibition in Munich. Also negotiated during the week of the exhibition, the financing was confirmed by Russian banks so that the contract could be handed out.

On the site of an old ceramic plant established more than 100 years ago, this contract will now see a production line for the manufacturing of 60 million facing bricks installed into the existing and newly established production areas.

Given that during the planning period detailed documentation for the realisation of the project was already elaborated, Keller confirmed that it was now possible that the new brick plant could start its production as early as August 2007. A detailed description of the project is set to follow in the near future.
