IdeaPaint Expands Global Distribution Network

IdeaPaint, the creator of high-performance dry-erase paint solutions, announced today that it is now partnered with seven global distributors to provide IdeaPaint to customers around the world. The company is expanding at a break-neck speed, pulling this global distribution network together in less than six months.

IdeaPaint’s innovative dry-erase paint products transform smooth surfaces into borderless, durable dry-erase canvases. Launched in 2008, people across the U.S. have adopted IdeaPaint as a tool that allows them to work outside the constrained boundaries of a typical whiteboard and unleash vibrancy, productivity and creativity within the home, school and office. The expansion comes after the company received increasing global interest in the product from more than 100 countries.

Through its new distribution partnerships, IdeaPaint is now locally available to customers in India, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, Australia, New Zealand and the United Arab Emirates. In addition, customers in all European countries will be able to obtain IdeaPaint through distribution partnerships in the UK, France, Poland, Scandinavia and Russia.

“With ongoing excitement and interest in IdeaPaint from individuals all over the world, it was a natural next step to expand availability of our product outside of the U.S. and secure regional distribution partners,” said Morgen Newman, co-founder of IdeaPaint. “IdeaPaint’s ability to transcend across borders and cultures is a clear testament to its simplicity, functionality and universal value, and we are committed to strengthening our current distribution partnerships and aligning with new ones to eventually make IdeaPaint available everywhere in the world.”

With IdeaPaint’s first partnership finalized in August 2009, the company continued to partner with the highest-performing distributors in each region to provide IdeaPaint to local businesses, schools, building contractors and consumers. IdeaPaint plans to continue to expand internationally throughout 2010. The company intends to secure a distribution partner in Canada, and continue to expand distribution in Europe and Asia. Other potential regions on the horizon include, Brazil, Argentina and South Africa, among others.

In recognition of IdeaPaint’s booming interest abroad and expansion goals for 2010, British Airways selected IdeaPaint as one of 100 companies honored in its Business Opportunity Grant program. The grant includes airfare for 10 round-trip Club World business class flights, five free global shipments with British Airways World Cargo, $1,000 toward hotel accommodations at Courtyard by Marriott, five Regus Businessworld Gold Cards offering access to its business lounges worldwide, a Canon MX860 Printer, and three face-to-face business introductions through ExeConnect. Through this program, IdeaPaint will have greater ability to engage in face-to-face meetings with current and potential distributors in new regions, ultimately allowing more people around the world to experience its product.
