IdeaPaint and MDC to Display Range of Office Design Innovations at NeoCon2013

IdeaPaint, the leader and innovator in workplace collaboration technology via its unique dry erase paint that transforms any smooth surface into an erasable canvas, will showcase a variety of new office design innovations at NeoCon, North America’s largest design exposition and conference for commercial interiors held at The Merchandise Mart in Chicago on June 10-12.

Together with MDC – one the world’s largest sources of wallcoverings and coatings – IdeaPaint will feature its signature dry erase paint in the MDC Showroom #10-155 and on the 7th and 8th Floors of the Merchandise Mart.

IdeaPaint will be featured on four large walls where attendees will be able to doodle, write and otherwise leave their mark. This will give them the opportunity to express their ideas and creativity while seeing the power of IdeaPaint in action.

MDC, National Distribution Partner of IdeaPaint, was the first to introduce the product to the Architecture & Design community as a proven way to transform mundane office spaces into hotbeds of innovation and ideation where people love to gather in creative, stimulating environments. In doing so, the world’s most innovative organizations – including Google, Apple, Nike, Harvard and MIT – now rely on IdeaPaint’s technology to drive better idea generation, collaboration and overall productivity. In fact, the most successful executives and foremost thinkers use writable walls to generate breakthrough ideas and turn them into actionable initiatives while building consensus with teams along the way.

See IdeaPaint POWDER at NeoCon

At NeoCon, IdeaPaint will debut a new and improved version of IdeaPaint POWDER – a superior dry erase technology that transforms office furniture into multi-function creativity and collaboration tools for today’s dynamic workspaces.

An industrial applied powder paint that can be applied to any metal surface, IdeaPaint POWDER dramatically increases the value of office furniture and finished goods by turning them into innovative multi-function vehicles. For example, a bank of file cabinets can be transformed into an “Idea Wall” where employees can share their latest progress on a new product currently in development while a large storage tower can serve as a regularly updated calendar of activities for a particular department. Furthermore, IdeaPaint POWDER is the highest-quality product of its kind currently available today – it simply outperforms other products across all key criteria such as smoothness of finish, stability, ease of painting and erasability.

IdeaPaint POWDER is also the only product that comes in a very pure white shade as well as a host of other colors including clear. It is not only more effective than alternative materials but also more environmentally-friendly as well. And its Urethane formula ensures that multi-functional products will last for several decades.

Office furniture manufacturers are increasingly relying on IdeaPaint POWDER to fulfill the demand for multi-functional furniture from organizations nationwide. In fact, Greg Kooistra, vice president of product at Watson, a leading provider of European-inspired office furnishings for business, education and institutional enterprises, reports that IdeaPaint POWDER has transformed several desking units into “idea surfaces” for key customers.

“We recently used IdeaPaint POWDER to transform a large sportswear client’s office furniture into more valuable multi-purpose pieces and they were absolutely delighted by the results,” he said.

NeoCon attendees who wish to see office furniture that has been transformed by POWDER should go to the 7th and 8th floors of the Merchandise Mart. These pieces will be in front of IdeaPaint’s liquid paint display, by the elevator banks.
