Ecologically Sound Designer Finish

NBT has introduced two new ranges of self-coloured, high performance, clay-based top-coat plasters. These ecologically sound finishes are highly attractive and don’t require painting as they come in a range of colours including blue, green, grey, orange, red and yellow.

Known as Bayosan and Claytec they are fully "breathable" and minimise many of the problems of "sick building syndrome", such as asthma, moulds, bronchial illnesses etc.

The plasters harden by drying - no chemical reaction takes place – and being completely natural, they have extremely low embodied energy and are completely sustainable.

They are suitable for use over a wide range of dry surfaces, including masonry, plasterboard clayboard, reedboard, and lime, clay and gypsum undercoat plasters.
