Sealing Showers and Baths

Shower and bath leaks are an all too common problem in the building industry and can prove very difficult to avoid. Although seals may work well when initially installed, movement in the building structure and attack from fluctuating temperatures and bathroom chemicals can cause commonly used silicone sealants to break down.

The Trimlux Sealing System is an easy to install shower tray and bath sealing system that combines a flexible trim with a quality silicone. The flexible strip allows some joint movement but the silicone remains concealed and protected inside the trim. This results in a clean durable joint seal that will not attract slime like exposed silicone usually does in the shower environment.
