Art's Way Manufacturing to Construct Modular Building Complex

Art's Way Scientific, a wholly owned subsidiary of Art's Way Manufacturing, has accepted a contract to create 24 modular units. The expected period of construction and installation of modular units is one year, which will result in a 21,350 sq.ft, research facility.

It is specifically designed and constructed for a premier educational and research institution. The company furthermore anticipates acquiring an installation contract, which will facilitate additional revenue of about $2 M. The value of the combined contracts is expected to be $9M over the term of the contracts.

The President of Art's Way Scientific, Dan Palmer said a team of proficient design professionals succeeded in formulating diverse concepts and ideas for this modular unit. A design contract has been acclaimed a few months back. The design is absolute, organizing the team to start with construction and site work, once it has been approved. Recently, construction was initiated for the first of the 24 modular sections. The foundation work, expected to complete during the spring and summer months, forms the basis for the achievement of construction. The building will be available for accommodation by the end of 2012.

According to the Executive Chairman of the Board J. Ward McConnell, Jr., the firm is pleased to execute this remarkable project. The modular laboratories of Art's Way Scientific will provide a suitable environment for the students, faculty, and staff to perform their critical researches.
