US Precast Corporation and Florida Rock and Sand Prestress Sign Merger Agreement

US Precast Corporation and Florida Rock and Sand Prestress have signed an agreement to consolidate both companies into one unit which will be called United Concrete Products.

The agreement has been signed with immediate effect with an intention to enhance the industry standing of both companies. As a result of this agreement, the new company will now offer an enhanced product portfolio which will include precast, prestress, pile services and pipes. The merger of the staff base, vendor base and the infrastructure of both companies are expected to enhance its market presence and present its customers with products and services more efficiently. The newly merged company United Concrete Products will be headquartered in Medley, Florida. The sites of Florida Rock and Sand Prestress which are currently in Medley and West Palm Beach will be merged with US Precast Corporation over the next few months.

While US Precast Corporation specialises in reinforced concrete pipes, box culvert, tunnel sections and precast concrete structures in Florida, Florida Rock and Sand Prestress specialises in sanitary drainage systems, precast drainage structures, concrete specialty structures, seawall panels, concrete piling and deck slabs for the Florida marine and foundation construction industry. The company has been certified by Precast Concrete Institute and is a qualified producer of prestressed and incidental precast concrete products for Florida Department of Transportation.
