Ten UAE-based precast manufacturing companies have combined in order promote the benefits of precast by setting up a Precast Zone in the Big 5 exhibition.
The ten manufacturers participating in the exhibition include Dubai Precast, Concrete Technology, Hard Precast, Emarat Europe, Gulf Precast, Exeed Precast, Union Precast Factory, Xtramix, United Precast Concrete and RAK Precast. The companies together have scheduled a half day seminar about precast on November 22 at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre located Sheikh Saeed Hall 3.
These ten companies all belonging to the Precast Chapter of the Concrete Society are striving towards increasing awareness of the precast solution’s benefits in the building developments announced in Gulf region. While there is an increased awareness of the precast solution internationally, it is essential that there is further enhancement in precast knowledge in the Gulf region.
The seminar conducted will include the topics of improved development sustainability, minimized construction costs and time, safety and improved product quality in the construction development sector. During the seminar, the manufacturers will also review different projects in which the developers will be benefited. The different projects to be reviewed include infrastructure works, community villa developments, shopping centers, high rise buildings, etc. The seminar will also offer illustrations and examples applicable to the Gulf area and its particular needs.
A chairman of one of the companies stated that all companies belong to the local Concrete Society and are based in the United Arab Emirates. The chairman said that since the Dubai Big 5 exhibition is well connected with international as well as local organizations of the construction industry, the companies have chosen it as the perfect platform to create awareness on the use of precast. The chairman went on to say that the companies expect to have an interactive and animated knowledge exchange during the seminar, which will be useful to the consultants, developers, and other members of the industry.
