New Nashville Color Collection Depicting Color Shades of Nashville Introduced

PPG Porter Paints has introduced a novel palette, Nashville Color Collection, which comprises 75 colours that represent the natural colour shades of Nashville. The vibrant shades of the landscape, ranging from the neutral shades of the conventional bungalows to the bright shades of modern localities are included in the palette.

The landmarks that supported the development of the palette are included in the collection. Each colour is linked with the history of Nashville which includes the scene and notes on the Broadway of Nashville. In addition, the stories like the musical inspiration of “Opry Gold" to the first southern community certified by LEED "Glutch Green” are included to develop the shades.

The "Cafe Blue” palette colour has been developed from the well- known Blue Bird Café , a famous place for the musicians. Another "LEEDing Green" colour is related to the city’s latest achievement in sustainability.

A color consultant at PPG Porter Paints, Troy Harper stated that the palette is a representation of the city’s musical root and architecture. The inspiring shades in the collection will give a unique look to the houses. The authenticity of the city is brought into the colour collection. The common elements found in the houses of the city including the hardwood flooring and white kitchen cabinets are considered to develop the contrasting colours which will match with the personal requirements of the house owners.

The collection is created by colour experts and representatives of PPG architectural coatings and is an element of PPG Porter Paints Voice of Color Program.
